About Us

Auction Aid was formed as a business by experienced Auctioneer Paul Young. Paul and his team have over 30 years experience performing live Auctions for various companies in the UK and Ireland. The main objective of the business is to give support to charities and good causes who are in need of funding.

The business model is quite simple, we arrange and perform Auctions on a monthly basis, we receive our usual Auction buyers commission for doing this, the net proceeds raised from the goods sold will go directly into our Aid Fund and distributed to the causes we are supporting. We have a base stock of various items in our warehouse that have been acquired by special acquisition and generous donations, this allows us to offer really competitive Auction starting prices which is good for maintaining a good customer base.

Through a lot of hard work and required negotiation we are continually acquiring new merchandise from our global connections in the Art and craft industries which gives us good continuity to perform our Auctions and hopefully create a win win situation.
